Like all old gardeners, I’ve heard a lot more than I actually know. And here are a few of the remedies that I’ve heard about that will help keep unwanted cats and dogs out of your yard.
All of the repellents that I’ve heard about involve strong odors. Vicks VapoRub on a stick, orange and lemon peels thrown around in the landscape, hot pepper. But one that I know works for sure is mothballs. A hand full of these thrown around in your landscape will repel cats and dogs.
